STRENGTH, POWER & MOBILITY

Unlike most CBD gyms, Interesting Fitness caps the class sizes to ensure you always get a great workout. Get on the road to stronger bones, bigger muscles and increased strength. If there's one thing we believe, it's that if you want to lose weight, gain muscle and look better than ever, the two things you must do is eat right and lift heavy. We can help you with both.

Weight Training Fundamental Classes

In the traditional approach to strength training, we historically saw the employment of compound exercises such as barbell back squats, deadlifts etc. Develop your strength through various compound movements alongside improving technique under the guidance of a qualified trainer. The perfect way to ensure your body becomes a lean, fat burning machine.

Personal Training

Cut the excuses and get results working with one of our resident Personal Trainers. Your session will be customised to suit your current health and fitness, and be personalised to ensure that to do things you never thought possible. With undivided attention and accountability, Personal Training is a sure way to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Emma Youngman

Emma Youngman

I'm born and bred British, and have been living in Australia for four years now. I gained my Personal Training qualifications here and have been working as a trainer for two years. I am also currently studying my Diploma in Remedial Massage. I specialise in calisthenics and mobility, and have a passion for improving people's ability to not only move well, but show them just what their bodies are capable of!

My philosophy in life and training is 'limitations only exist if you let them'.

Joey Bowling

Joey Bowling

I am London born and bred, currently living here in Sydney, Australia. I come from an athletic background with experience playing football, basketball and American football at University. My fitness background is in Muay Thai/Boxing, and in functional strength training. My philosophy is that fitness should be fun, no matter how strenuous. That's not to say you're going to spend an entire workout busting a gut in laughter.

No matter how hard a workout may seem, the pleasure of success always surpasses the pain of failure.

I was born and raised in Italy and moved to Sydney five years ago. As a child, I played soccer up to a competitive level which led me to complete a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science in Italy. Then I accepted a role as a Conditioning Coach for a tennis squad and Personal Trainer. Since living here in Australia, I have completed my Personal Training qualifications and now work full time as a fitness instructor.

I'm passionate about helping people to become a better, healthier and stronger version of themselves.

Hayley Smith

Hayley Smith

I was born and grew up in England, before moving to Australia in 2015. As a teenager, I received my black belt in Shotokan Karate and attended the world championships.

I have been going to the gym for about ten years and realised that fitness is an industry I am passionate about. Nowadays, my own training focus is on competitive Body Building where I will compete in my first competition next year.

My training philosophy is all about finding what makes you feel good an enjoying the process. Whether it’s dance, weights, yoga, tennis… just keep moving and improving.

Dasha Brandt

Dasha Brandt

I was born in Ukraine and grew up in Canada. As a child, I participated in ballet, soccer and gymnastics. I am currently training to compete in an amateur boxing fight, and aside from this a lot of my training is based around calesthenics.

I strongly believe in body movement, creating space in your body and being able to move easily, not just in the gym but every day life. Teaching people that it's not primarily about a six pack, it's your health that holds a bigger meaning.

I am actively involved in competitive powerlifting, and am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. I believe that no human has the right to go through life without knowing the full capability of their bodies.

I was born and grew up in Poland, and moved to Australia 11 years ago. I have a long history working and teaching in both the fitness industry and in sports massage. I have been boxing for over 12 years, however nowadays I teach classes and fitness qualifications.

I specialise in strength training, combat fitness, military style and tactical fitness. I believe that training is also about pushing both the mental and physical barriers to explore our limits.

Elisabet Valbe

Elisabet Valbe

I was born and grew up in a small town called Kuressaare in Estonia. I started dancing when I was 9 years old and later during my high school years I became dance instructor for younger students in my dance school. I participated in multiple national and international dance competitions both as a dancer and teacher. I travelled to Australia in 2012, where I discovered my passion for health and fitness. I believe that training should be enjoyable and sustainable. The key is learning how to make it part of your lifestyle.
